NB-PSTA

Parent Student Teacher Association
The North Broward Parent-Student-Teacher Association (NB-PSTA) is an organization of dedicated parent volunteers working directly with teachers and administrators to benefit the entire school community. Parents from all three campuses have chosen to become general member of the NB-PSTA.

The NB-PSTA sponsors programs and events that unite the three campuses, enlighten our school community and enhance our students’ educational experiences. Through the NB-PSTA, parents have many volunteer opportunities that allow them to participate more fully in their children’s school experience. Many of these activities help families build friendships with other school families.

Because of parent participation and generous financial support, the NB-PSTA’s fundraising efforts provide a Speaker Series, Fall Family pre-game BBQ, teacher gift cards for supplies twice a year and other significant ongoing projects. Speakers have included Pat Williams from the Orlando Magic, an international expert on Internet safety and cyberbullying, and local Native American presenters.

This active organization is overseen by an Executive Board, elected by the parent members. Monthly Executive Board meetings are open to all NB-PSTA members and include updates from the Lower, Middle and High Schools.
